Barb Caffrey holds two music degrees and is a writer, editor and musician. She is the author of ELFY, a funny urban fantasy/romance novel, forthcoming at Twilight Times Books in 2013. She’s sold stories to the BEDLAM’S EDGE anthology and the Written Word online magazine (with late husband Michael B. Caffrey), sold a nonfiction article to Vision online, sold poems to Joyful! online and the Written Word, and has written extensively for the Daily Nebraskan and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Ranger News as an arts and entertainment reporter and opinion columnist. Op-eds have also appeared in the Racine Labor Paper and the Racine Journal-Times (under the previous married name). She has reviewed extensively for Amazon.com as an Amazon Vine reviewer, has edited for Masterpiece Comics and for Rebel Dawn Creative Forces, is a sports enthusiast and is a devout watcher of the Maury show.
