First, never let negative information bother you. If a security guard’s wife complains about being a night guard, tell her that it’s not your fault and then inform her that she should go talk to her husband about it. The security guard job is stressful enough without adding more stress to an already challenging situation. If a security guard’s boss makes some disparaging remarks about him, simply ignore them. You might have to put some space between you two, but it is important that she is unable to contact you again.
