When we are facing a challenge, the majority of us will fight it hard. This is the old thinking pattern that results in negativity. Here are a few ways to modify the old thinking pattern and bring yourself into a positive thinking mode.

First, never let negative information bother you. If a security guard’s wife complains about being a night guard, inform her that it is not your fault and then tell her that she should go talk to her husband about it. The security guard job is stressful enough without adding more stress to an already challenging situation. If a security guard’s boss makes some disparaging remarks about him, simply ignore them. You may need to put some distance between you two, but it is important that she’s unable to contact you .
