First, never let negative information bother you. If a security guard’s wife complains about being a night guard, tell her that it’s not your fault and then inform her that she should go talk to her husband about it. The security guard job is stressful enough without adding more stress to an already challenging situation. If a security guard’s boss makes some disparaging remarks about him, simply dismiss them. You might need to put some distance between you two, but it is important that she’s unable to contact you .
