The security guard job is stressful enough without adding more stress to an already challenging situation. If a security guard’s boss makes some disparaging remarks about him, simply ignore them. You may have to put some space between you two, but it is important that she is not able to contact you again.

If you start to eliminate the things in your life that aren’t worth you doing, you will start to notice that you have less anxiety. This is because you’re becoming someone who is organized, practical, and effective. When you think in those terms, you will not be thinking about why you are not having as much fun at your job as you once did. Most security guard jobs require you to be on your feet daily, sometimes for long periods at a time. If you work in an office building, it’s important that you are comfortable with your legs. Dress well so they do not hurt. Shoes and socks should be worn when working, wherever you are working.
